The brief was to design a large functional home to be located on a narrow site, with a stream to the south of the property and the street front to the north. The Living area is located to the back of the section with access and views out to the stream. A central courtyard can be accessed from the Master Bedroom, Gallery Hallway and Living area, which also provides afternoon sun into the Living area. High level pop-up roofs with clerestory windows provides additional light and a sense of volume throughout the house.
