The brief was to design a medical centre to replace the original buildings. The main requirement was to create a highly functional medical facility that was welcoming to the community externally, and light and bright internally. With numerous consultant rooms, it was critical that the public spaces connected to consultants rooms without feeling like a maze and being surrounded by residential properties, it was important to have a residential scale while having a footprint of 875m².
